SOLD! I'm trying to simplify my audio equipment. Up for sale is my Eastern Electric Minimax CD player. This CD player has a vacuum tube analog output. It uses 6922 tubes, which may be changed easily without cracking open the unit. It also has a very good headphone output that utilizes the tube stage. It offers both analog RCA output and digital coax output. I am the original owner, and have had it for a little over 3 years. I have put several hundred hours on the CD player, and it still looks and performs great. This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however, and I don't know much product support there will be in the future.
The CD player comes with the original triple-box packaging, manual, remote, the stock tubes, a pair of JJ E88CC/6922 tubes, and a pair of white cotton gloves for changing the tubes. The retail price for the CD player when I bought it was US$1050. I am asking US$400, which includes shipping within the US. I am willing to ship internationally, but there may be additional shipping costs.
