better SQ Fuze/Clip+ vs Sony S series

im lookin for a decent sized player...with good SQ ..im tired of the Ipod's preset crappy EQ .distortion/hissing


im looking at these 2...which has better SQ?

The Sony does, but Fuze and Clip+ should serve you well if used with a nice portable amp.

The Sandisk DAP's sound nice and clean - better than iPods. But the EQ is not great imo. Sony does this way better.
