Cowon D2+ SDHC

Hi, I own a Cowon D2+ 16GB running firmware v2.1 and I'm wondering what's the maximum sized SDHC that the DAP can support?

32GB would be nice, but I can live with 16GB.

Thanks.

hmm... im running my 4gb D2 converted to D2+ with a 32GB memory2go (rebadged toshiba ) class 4 card with no issues at all, just remember to use the panasonic SD formatter to shorten the SD database updates, it only does it when you remove the card or connect the player, but its still quite annoying,

But there is still a file limitation of 4000songs. Or have they fixed that?

Considering that 99% of all people here will rip to the highest bit rate possible, or use an alternative codec (FLAC for example), makes a 4000 song limit a useless issue. Get a 32gb sdHc, it'll work just fine.

I think I remember reading that the 4k limit is actually 4k on the internal and a further 4k on a sd card. I also understand you could rockbox it to remove the limitation if if becomes a problem.

yea, but rockbox and SD card usage isnt very recomended, it even says so in the rockbox and iaudiophile forums,
