A beginner Audiophile seeking assistence - Page 2

Welcome to Head-Fi and sorry about your wallet.

Do not jump into this and spend a lot of money right away.

You just ordered some nice IEMs. Wait for them to arrive, stick them in your ears and then listen for a few months.

Once you get a handle on them and figure out what you like and don't like, then take your next step. They should work well with a Zune, so you don't need to buy anything else right now. Just listen and hang around here. You'll know when you're ready to take the next step.

OK, so I guess that visual joke didn't go over so well. For the OP, it showed a guy shouting into a girl's face with a megaphone.

Not that funny? Well, I guess you had to be there....

Anybody else wondered how he managed to type the title of his post in small caps but not the post itself?

I'd suggest picking up a DAC/amp. maybe an ibasso d2+ - it'll get rid of any computer hiss and improve the sound out of any weaker portable devices.
