After owning the d2 for a while it finally gave up on me. I loved the sound of the player. Some would describe it "cold" ? Well I'm in the market for a new player. I do have the fuze + clip at the moment but they're all banged up. I have a rockbox on the fuze and with i love it.. without it, the sound doesn't excite me at all (i turn the treble up a bit)..
Anyways, I'm looking for a 16gb player. Expandability isn't an issue. I want the cold/analytical (correct me if I'm wrong) sound the d2 produces maybe a player that's a bit brighter then the sansas? I don't want another d2 (was never found of its touchscreen interface). I bought an touch 3g the other week, but ended up filling it up with games instead xP. The budget is around 200. Video isn't necessary (i seldom use it) but would be nice and decent battery life would be appreciated.
I'm currently considering the iaudio 7 + cowon s9.
I will be using mainly TF-10's RE-0 and harx700.
