Compared to others here, my 2009 dent on my wallet was not so bad..a portable amp, LOD, cables and topkit etc.
Considering I joined the forum at the end of Nov 2008, and my 2008 expense was the esw10jpn's, I would count myself as doing pretty well against temptations here on head-fi.
to be honest, a bigger factor on my spending has been my music library, which was filled with mainly crappy downloaded 128kb mp3's, until I joined head-fi that is..so slowly working my way up with my CD library, which I must say is putting a large hole in my budget,as in 2009 I already spent over $1K on Cds...
as for 2010, plans are mainly to concentrate spending on CDs (although no promises..
)
I figured my big spending will be in 2011, as I will be moving back to Japan and no longer have to worry about moving hassles if I buy large setup. thats when i will go on a spending spree with a dedicated player, home amp, speakers etc.....go 2011!!!

eh..seems like I got it all planned out...let's see how this compares to my usual new years resolution of quitting smoking...
