Boiled Frozen Baby Beans = Revolting Food - Page 3

I'm on a similar diet, exchange beer for bourbon

I always aim for a healthy breakfast and reasonable dinner to counteract whatever garbage I have for lunch. Easy healthy stuff for breakfast includes Yoplait light yogurt, bananas and Cheerios with non-fat milk.

Easy dinner is a salad. Unfortunately you can't shop for salad ingredients at Target/Walmart, you have to go to the grocer. Get the packaged blend along with some cherry tomatoes, a stalk of broccoli, croutons and whatever else tickles your fancy. Remember that salad goes bad within a week at most, so don't stock up on the really big bags.

I just had my leftover pizza from yesterday for my lunch. Looks like dinner will be the same - leftover pizza.
I wonder what I'll have tomorrow (new year's eve). Still thinking to whether just get something cheap from supermarket and save the money or should I splurge a bit.
But I do have a certain item that I want bad and I need to save up a lot of money for...

Just so you know, microwaving vegetables is one of the best ways to retain the nutrients while cooking them without having to add oil. Personally I like to take an entire head of broccoli, salt it, and microwave it for a minute. Then I dip it in low cal honey-mustard dressing.

Tzatziki or some plain yogurt works well as a dip too.

I challenge you NOT to eat the whole darn pan! It's so delicious, anyone who hates broccoli will devour this stuff. I promise!
I will try this for tonight's dinner - never actually oven baked broccoli before. But from nutritious side, I guess there won't be much left anymore huh, because they will be totally browned.

I also bought some veal schnitzel, will fry them as well for tonight.
