Thanks all you guys from head-fi...
It's been about 1 year I've been around and I cannot count or precise how much knowledge I got and wonderful moments I spent because of you guys... (and money spent also)
In this past year I've run through some of the most well known pieces of equipment around... The ones I still have are in my sig...
but that does no include:
--Bose Around Ear (got them as a gift in mid-2008 - they made me start into head-fi and sold them in the very first month I joined you guys
)
--Shure SE210 (my first and only attempt on IEM - kinda expensive, very uncomfortable , bad cable microphonics, very uncomfortable, thin sounding, very uncomfortable, harsh sounding, did I say they were very uncomfortable?)
--Yuin PK1 (I liked them as a portable and they did not draw much attention - specially good in violent Brazil - but.... they were stolen in august last year when I was driving with my stuff in the car, I had a flat tyre and a thief got the opportunity to rob me when I was putting the spare tyre on...
-- Audio Technica ESW9s ( I really really loved them, specially after modded, I used them on my desk when working and as they did not need much power, they were perfect - same destiny as the above)
-- Meier Audio Headsix - great little amp - they were one of the milestone in my head-fing (same destiny as both the above)
You guys can imagine how pissed off I was when I was robbed...
Thanks a lot guys for the advice I got from you, also, all my phones were bought through head-fi. Withou head-fi one would not be able to find so much info on hifi and buy used equipment.
