My New Album, Rabbit Dream - Page 4

Very Cool CD. Urban dwellers will get the vibe. Acid-Tech/Tech-house is the Genre. I will look for some Acix's older stuff. Really like Rabbit Dreams.

Great that you already got the CD, BIG POPPA. Yes, definitely techy with a little bit of trance overtones and sometimes a nice ambient atmosphere. It feels like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in a CD.

I like, Acix! Just listened to the first three tracks. That first "Rabbit Dreams" one sounds a bit like Matthew Dear's better work from "Leave Luck To Heaven". Nice, pulse-driven micro techno.

Thanks, I'll check him out. I like the idea of pulse-driven micro techno. Enjoy the clips, there are two pages there. The last ones on page 2 are ambient and they're nice, too.

Right on. I will check the rest out shortly. You should also check out Dear's "Backstroke" EP as well as the way more poppy and vocal "Asa Breed". Important dance stuff in the key of awesome.

Holy moly Acix!!!??

You just got yourself a new fan...this album is amazing from the clips I heard on your site. Little problem though, my account and credit card/s have been banned from Paypal (long story...). I was about to pull the trigger, but you only have paypal as the method of payment. Can I pay over the phone with my CC?

i listened to the sample tracks. pretty cool.
i rally appreciate the work that goes into something like this, as far as mastering. what you said about the purpose of the beats was makes some sense, i see where youre coming from. i just feel like instead of music being meditative, i guess, and "allowing" you to tap into yourself as you know it, it should rudely or surprisingly force you into a higher sense of your expression at the moment, without you being self aware or anything.

and as far as mastering goes (although here i really cant tell if i know what im talking about), i have this idea that rather than improving clarity or quality in very specific ways is not necessarily any more productive when youre that specific, because it can always be heard as something. and revealing the process never made anything worse.
it also seems like blind faith or something following a preconceived idea of how to master. and if im going to have blind faith in something id rather it be music concrete.
anyway. not that i dont like it at all. i was just sayin.
