I just got in my Micro DAC (non ultra) and am using the USB of my Toshiba LT (running Vista) then line out to the energizer of my Stax and still not getting any audio. I couldn't find any problems with my audio drivers. ANY help is greatly appreciated! Trav

Do you have the output of the dac selected in the audio pane in the control panel? Sometimes that needs to be done manually the first time.

Hi Trav,

Regrettably, Vista may have some OS platform and/or audio soundcard issues on occasion. If resetting your computer audio internals and rebooting (as below) does not fix, please feel free to call Ben in HeadRoom sales dept to troubleshoot during our regular office hours [M-F, 9am-5pm]

from HeadRoom FAQ:

Microsoft Machine:
Go to ‘my computer’ and select ‘control panel’. In control panel, select ‘Sounds and Audio Devices’, and then select the ‘audio’ tab. then select ‘USB Audio Codec’ as your Default Device, and hit OK. You will eed to restart your music management programand/or your computer in order for your computer to "re-recognize" the DAC.

Cheers,

Jorge looks like I'll be calling your guy Monday am. I've even looked into my my INF files and for the life of me can't make this LT recognize the DAC. Sad thing is this DAC has very positive reviews from very scrupulous sources...
