Has anybody listened/heard the album?
I think it sounds amazing, your thoughts

I keep waiting for a jam to break out. Will continue to check out the songs on youtube but I do like them. Kind of reminds me of mellow prog. rock.

It's cause he's listening on the wrong phones

I've picked it up, but haven't given it a listen yet. I think I'll start now.

I couldn't get through the album, I find it to be too much like Explosions in the Sky: super slow, drawn out post rock.

It's slow music if you were expecting something faster sorry

Off topic, I don't feel like arguing about music.

The xx is great, I just got their album recently. (avatar)

Not really arguing more discussing really, if you want faster post rock have you listened to " and so i watch you from afar"
XX is good it's good chilling out music

I have and really like "And So I watch You from Afar".
I don't really know how I feel about post rock. I am not the biggest fan of Sigur Ros (can't really get into them) but I love A Silver Mount Zion and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Oh well, all my friends scowl at me when I mention how I don't like Sigur Ros

You heard GSBE, you heard them all
Also, I wouldn't call Sigur Rose post-rock. It sounds like shoegaze or dream pop to me.

Best album of '09 but you need to like the genre in the first place to appreciate it.
