Ha yeah I did and I bumped this cause I think headphones as a Christmas gift is a good idea.  Didn't think this thread would have any more comments after me but haha oh well.

So funny. A while back I actually considered getting these for my two musician nephews. I'd have probably spent this much on crap for them anyway!

Ah, M50 love! Glad to see so many are happy with these headphones. I don't recall where I heard of them before ordering mine. Since Headroom.com does a 30 day trial, I figured it was worth a shot and ended up keeping them. When I'm not at work and have time to do some real listening, I throw these bad boys on and love every second of it!

 

And there's nothing wrong with Christmas in June/July.

 

shane55, being a musician myself, I'm sure your nephews will love these. Others claim they need varying amounts of time to burn-in, but I thought they sounded pretty good out of the box. I do think they sound better and better each time I put them on.
