I'm in Melbourne for another week and was wondering if anyone knew any cool audio related stores/places in the Melbourne CBD, I could use the yellow pages but word of mouth is soooooooooooo much cooler , btw I drove past the audiophile store on brunswick st.? had a GS1000 picture in the window

Go Audio was on the first floor of Melbourne Central. I'm not sure if it is still there though. They were going to stock Sennheiser HD800.

They aren't anymore. They became an Optus and Telstra store. *shudders*

Umm. Lets see. On the same Brunswick st., there is another store called Soundstream(?). They mainly sell AKG's, Bose and Skulls. Nothing you can't get from JB except for the 601's and 701's. As a matter of fact, I went to one of their stores today to try out their 701's. They didn't have it so I tried the 601's. I had to test it unamped The girl selling them didn't seem to know much about headphones but she was rather cute so I've got nothing against her.
