I got what I need to complete my introduction to quality audio:

Grado SR80's. They will be paired with a Rockboxed IRiver H120 that I've had for years and a FLAC library that keeps growing.

I also got a Sansa Clip+ for portable duties, and then the normal jeans, shoes, etc.

I know you guys are sorry about my wallet, as well you should be. I'm waiting for the burn in before I proceed, but I'm already thinking about the next step. It seems an amp is next?

Well, since every asian in town knows my parents, literally everyone feels they need to give on Christmas, since most of them never want to actually go out and shop for presents, they jut hand out cards with money. i ended up with $1200.
Most likely will go into the savings account and will contribute greatly to my Sennheiser hd800s. and of course lots of Pepsi!! Coke lovers don't hate. ;D

Ah well, I remember celebrating Christmas in Malaysia [holidaying] was a pretty bland experience.

Yeah, a good friend of mine is based in Japan. He says the holidays are pretty much like any other day.

@TheAudioDude-- No, I didn't draw it. I found it on some random website. It's 'Beat' from Jet Set Radio Future, an old Xbox game. If you ask me, one of the best games ever. Go pick it up if you have an original Xbox!

well i got a couple of things that technically were in my amazon wish list

however they were things id already bought and they knew that. i know it was a pretty kettle but really im never ever going to use it. why they couldnt have gone with CD's or books I'll never know

I think it has less to do with christianity, and more to do with a nordic/germanic cultural heritage.

I got a pair of ECC88 Telefunkens and a pair of 60s Seimens E88CCs. I already have Mullard E88CCs, Telefunken E88CCs and slightly older pair of Seimens E88CCs. So far the the ECC88 Tele's wipe the floor with all of them, they sound AMAZING, better than the more expensive model i already owned ... no idea wh,y but the cheaper model are night and day better? havn't got round to trying the seimens yet, really happy with Xmas 2009!!

Yep, I have that game (and still have my original Xbox) although it hasn't been hooked up to a T.V. in years. Definitely a great and original game; can't say that for many games nowadays but there are definitely some gems.
