First of all I want to wish all of head-fi a very merry chrismas.
Secondly, i have a humax digital tv receiver that I want to play through my macbook pros speakers. I have it connected to the optical input and I know that it is on but there is no sound coming out.
In the past i have used this receiver with external dacs but I have none at the moment so I want to play it through my laptop so that I can listen to tv.
Is this possible with the macbook pro or do I need to install software?
I hope that i can get this working because there is an ibasso d4 on the way as temporary dac bu that has only usb input.
