WTB Corda Cross 1

I saw an ad for a Cross and thought that was something I wanted to try; I used to own a 2Move, and thought pretty highly of it. And since his ad got answered, I thought I would put one up too. Please include the price you're selling for. Thanks.

I know we're not supposed to comment here, but I wanted to tell you that the schematics for the Cross-I are available on Dr. Meier's site. It is possible to build one on perf board or commission someone to build one for you.

I highly recommend the Cross-I, too. I built one a few years back and it is a superb piece of equipment. Not for sale () but I encourage you to find or build one.

I appreciate the comment, it's always good to hearing the views of people who have things that you want to buy. As for building it, I don't really have the equipment or background to try something like this. I can imagine buying tools, assembling all the parts, putting it all together, and damaging the board while soldering the last component. Ouch. I guess I'm worried about what to do if anything were to go wrong. But if someone who does build them responds to my ad, I would appreciate that.

Happy New Year. Even if someone could point me in the right direction as to where I could purchase a Cross, or have one assembled, that would be much appreciated.

Don´t you know anybody who can do it? I´m sure that somebody around you would be capable of doing it. I built it for me, and i had nearly no experience with soldering and so on and it is working as it should. If you know anybody with some sodering skills he would be capable of doing it. It is very simple. Only problem is to do PCB.

You might want to post a "want to buy" thread in the DIY Forum. The Cross-I doesn't have a power supply and is pretty straightforward to build. One of the builders here should be able to put one together for you.

Sadly, I'm the most technical person I know. But that's sound advice, I'll try the DIY Forum, thanks.

If i may ask, how much are you willing to pay for it? I´m considering of making some Corda Crosses just to sell here. Although i don´t know if there would be interest for them.

How does one motion for a "group-run" of PCBs? I have no experience designing/laying out PCBs but would bet someone who does could help organize a group purchase.

From the website, it looks like a gerber file may already be available.

I for one would be interested.

Thomask, I would buy another one! providing the price was reasonable.

I started to do PCBs, i will probably make 2 or 3pcs of Crosses. Price for cross itself will be max 50USD, shipping to US is around 10USD. I will update here status of work. In case of interest post here very soon, i´ll buy parts probably thursday/friday, later it would cost more to order again separately.

i am interested in one too for my arriving V-DAC/XMOD & amp. I like the crossfeed that my ex Arietta Had...

OUCH , i´m bit surprised.
To spartan123: i said MAX 50USD, in my opinion it will be a bit less.
One thing i don´t know, if i have enough money just to buy parts.
Can i count with you(Wilashort, spartan123 2pcs, Brinkman)? I would be very angry if you won´t take them later.

Hope that it to be lower in reality. Because the price is something expensive for me.
In other hand, you can count on me, But i only can pay with Moneygram, FYI.
FYI2: I also live outside of USA...
