I have no idea. I'm using Windows 7 and it converts automatically, so lazy bag that I am, I don't have to do a thing! But there are a few posts in the X thread about different converters, I just haven't taken any notice of them

I'm quite tempted at this price but all this makes me think that a new flagship walkman is going to be released soon .. so i'll wait for that.

OR people were not prepared to pay extra for better SQ

I have a feeling this may be the last "high end" player from them - just a guess though

^ Yeah I think so too - I doubt sales #s will ever be released, but I'm quite positive that the X probably sold pretty poorly (especially at that nasty price!)

The new released products will be much pricy. Say, I almost paied addtional more than half of the current price of Sony X 1O60 when it initially launching.

Soozieq I much appreciate your kind proposal to handle the purchase, However i'm not so sure that your CC balance will thanks you as much. I just don't want to be relied on you in case i need it serviced b/c my dumb local Sony rep dosen't support this player at all. Again thanks for extending the hand for me, I'll just have to wait a bit longer.
