Has anyone else been really frustrated by the fact that Jaben is 100% unreachable by email? I haven't been able to get a hold of them for 2 months now by email to try and finish off my picollino order. Calling them on the phone is impossible since I am here in the U.S...It is almost like they don't even want you to spend your money with them...worst customer service I have seen in my personal purchase history in audio.

Yes, their email replying definitely leaves much to be desired. Even locally, the customers are always advised to call directly.

I mean I am left without a way to contact them and it is ridiculous. I have been trying to acquire a mini-mini forever now and these kind of business practices are the things that drive away potential customers.

They are very much understaffed with their current workload, can hardly handle the walk-in sometime. My understand is, Uncle Wilson wants to keep the business small enough in order to keep the more personal / friendly atmosphere around the store and yet the business is blooming regardless. That's why the easiest way to get to him is not by email, but via PM in his forum. I talked to him about the situation once and he told me he got a few hundred legit emails daily (among thousands of spam) needed to reply . You are right that online business is not among his expertises and he really need a dedicated IT guy to make everything smoother for sure. I will mention to him again.

Well if he would ever approve my account on their forum! I would be able to pm him but yet again a Jaben failure prevents that...I think I am going to have to resort to having one of my friends in singapore giving the store a visit.

My nightmare experience:
Back in the winter of 08, I bought X3i's...they went about 2 months later(some time in April)...the cable stiffened to the point of cracking. They were great while I had them.
So, I sent them to Singapore or whatever, a few bucks postage.
E-mailed jaben off and on for the next few months, no reply.
Then I got back from them early that fall, I believe. They said they were coming out with a new product(I think the quattro or whatever) and that they had an increased workload. So it took a few more months, no responses to my emails.
I went on the jaben forums, here's my posts(username:Alex91):
Contacting Jaben about X3 issues?
question about getting a replacement X3i
Contacting Jaben about X3 issues?
I did end up getting them back, and they were refurbished or some sh*t like that, ended up breaking within probably 6 weeks..ripped em apart and kept the casing for plugs, basically.

Try writing
UncleWilson-Info <info@unclewilsons.com>
It's Jaben's on-line store. They're not the best to deal with but not bad, and infinitely better than writing Jaben. I've never gotten a reply to any mail sent to Jaben, and have tried to join the forum but get no response there either. I ordered a JH13 piccolino cable from the on-line store back in September when they first went on sale and have had a miserable time with the transaction; massive delays and then some quality problems when it finally arrived after three months. The people there were not great about keeping me informed about or explaining the delays, but they are responsive, and they're being good about the QC issues - the cable will be replaced entirely, in the end.
Corrected - UncleWilson is not Jaben but a partner operation (see following post, thanks ClieOS).
The good news about the cable is that it really is amazing. All the that-can't-be-true stuff people say about it really is true, it makes a serious difference.

Unclewilsons.com is not actually ran by Jaben, but by SoundCat (as partner).

Unfortunately I'm back in Indonesia right now, else I would gladly address him in person regarding your issues.. Maybe some Singaporeans here would be able to help?
Yes, his store really has that friendly atmosphere; I reckon anybody could just ask permission from him to access Jaben email and lead him to see your email.

I have been using well his handle on the forums here is crazyguy to get through to Wilson directly but I am waiting on the TWag to finish burning in before I finish my comparisons against my picollino. It is a shame that such a wonderful cable is hindered by a difficult buying situation to acquire it and a almost inhibitive price behind it.
