Have juste deciced to go for the opus Dac, but don't know which version to get.

What kind of SQ difference exist between the stardard stereo version and the dual-mono? Can anybody give some comparison review / info?

Thanks

I’d go the difference, $65 extra is not all that much, the psu is a very important part of the overall implementation of any DAC, I would wager it has an overall effect on the sound quality.

It's not really "stereo vs dual-mono", simply whether you're using 1 power supply for both channels or one each. Personally, I'd take a nicer PSU than worry about dual-mono. Of course 2 nice PSUs would be even better. 2x Sigma11 anybody?

Thanks for the inputs

I think the stereo uses one DAC board, while the dual mono uses two DAC boards..... I supposed the dual mono is runing in parallel mod. Any comparison reviews?

For such low current device I will just use pure DC (= battery).
