just got it and i must say for 250 bucks it is a gr8 little gadget. ive been using a Grace M902 for the past 2 years which I really enjoyed and i must say though the grace is better the Apogee One is a great way to get a very nice and cool DAC that can record and is portable. It drives my HD600 without probs. well done Apogee! Mac only though......

just to add for it's got a great ADC and Internal Preamp inside of it. Very very nice!

So do you recommend it for an headphone amp, because I am planning to get this mostly for listening music through my IEM, and my headphones.

I have the ONE. The amp is almost as good as my Graham Slee Voyager. The ONE's DAC is a step up from my ipod touch, probably also better than ibasso D10. However, the headroom micro DAC I once had sounds better. From what I read. Apogee Duet will also sound better than ONE.

In short, ONE is a very good product. However, if all you need is listening to music, there is better alternative, such as DACs from headamp or headroom, or even Apogee's duet.

Yes, I know, but in my country there is no headphone amp, even those audio interfaces are extremely rare. So I am trying to find the best alternative for an headphone amp.

Basically all I found was a external sound card or an audio interface for my mac. Peoples haven't even heard about portable amps in my country!
