IE8's currently with Omnia i900 source (worth upgrading?)

Hi,

I recently bought some IE8's. I currently use them with a Samsung Omnia i900 phone with 24gb.

Is it worth the SQ upgrade to a Fuze or similar, to justify the extra spend?

I also have a Viliv S5 UMPC that i've been thinking about getting a DAC with. Would that be worth it, or would it drain my battery like crazy? It gets about 7 hours music playback currently.
