while iems might generally have low impedance and high sensitivity, the impedance isnt always constant. Specially not on the higher driver count customs like the jh13's. This present a more difficult impedance vs. frequency load which could be difficult for a portable player to handle resulting in poor FR. Though with a single dynamic driver or single BA this would most likely not be an issue.
