Anyone else a fan of Waxpoetics Magazine?

I've been a huge fan since late 2007. What a great resource for album digging and hard to find music reviews.

If you're not familiar with Waxpoetics, you kind of have to be an underground hip-hop/jazz/funk/soul fan to appreciate it.

That magazine has consistently inspired me to keep "digging." Such great sampling material!

I really like the magazine especially when it first came out.
It seems that they have a good amount of coverage of music
that I like and enough stuff that's not on my radar to be interesting.

I have a second copy of Waxpoetics Issue #28 (sealed in plastic), the Al Green cover:

If you want it just PM me. PayPal $4 and it's yours CONUS. If you're outside the US let me know. FYI, my HeadFi feedback is in my signature below.

YES. Waxpoetics is my favorite music rag! It does not get enough love. The only thing is that I rarely know anything going into each issue, and then I come out caring about at least something new. Also, when else will I ever see Coltrane or Betty Davis, etc. on the cover of a friggin' current magazine?
