I hope my battery will hold power until April, I will replace my S: flow2/T51 by the new Fiio X3 ...

When the battery on my S:Flo2 dies, I plan on modding it with a connection for an external batterypack. Plenty affordable external powerpacks available these days. and while I'm at it, maybe make a custom dock connector to dock it directly into my Fiio E9 :)

I just sold my S:flo 2 in favor of trying out a Cowon J3.  I sort of wish I hadn't. The J3 is a pretty bad ass player for sure ... mostly in regards to design/interface (the analog buttons on the side are a life saver) and the EQ stuff is fun to play with ...but no way is it the sonic match for the S:flo 2 ... just speaking of neutral/unafffected playback ... sucks ... I'm already thinking of selling the J3 and trying to hunt down a used S:flo (just mailed mine out this past Tuesday ... ugh) ... anyway ... S:flo sounds like it's twice the resolution of the J3 or something ... more resolving ... I keep wanting to turn the Cowon J3 up louder and louder to fill in the spaces that seem to be lacking but no matter how loud I turn it up, it just sounds ... well ... louder but still lacking ...

 

Damn you Teclast for not sticking with and perfecting that design!!!

 

Sucks.

Has anyone figured out an alternative to the S:Flo battery.  My battery is dead.. and works only while plugged to a USB or charger.  I really love this player and don't want to change it with any other.. Can anyone share there ideas here about any other batteries that can be used ?

Does the player still exist?  I cant even find a trace of someone selling it and nationite stop selling it iirc

Wondering if anyone mind selling me a faulty unit, be it the jack/battery/doesn't boot up...
