al the same I have been interested in this little thing for a while, given the low price I might have to check it out. I might wait for the software to mature a bit more first though. or for rockbox to be released for it

what i would be interested in is a comparison between the s-flo2 and the Sony Walkman X. these 2 seems to be fighting for the best sounding mp3 player!

Really? T51 have been released for long time, none report it is closed to SONY X. as the similar player of flo2, can it compete with SONY x?

I'll take following "review" with a grain of salt.
The translation is bad; I think, it basically said, Sony D50 > Sony X > T51.
If Sony D50 is 10 points, then Sony X is 9 points, T51 is 8 points. (I roughly averaged their scores according to the testing charts.) Someone knows Chinese, please give us more input.

S:flo2 = rebadged teclast T51

They are OEMed by Teclast and rolled out from the same factory, just cosmetic branding thats all.

Four quick questions:

Does the Line Out Sound significantly better than the Headphone Out?

Is it true you can't see the time on the interface and cannot set custom wallpapers?

How does the Screen resolution compare to the Ipod touch?

Does it Display all the Tags when playing FLAC and APE files?

for flac i heard it only displays album and artist properly, there seems to be a problem with the title

Scootermafia, thanks for those wonderful pictures and very well written first impressions! I'm really glad that you mention "no noise through headphone out" which I was a bit worried of. Based on your initial assessments, I'm sure I'm going to get a kick out of my S:flo2 once it arrives in a few days. The S:flo2 is a very strong contender to be 2009's best head-fi product with dual Wolfson DAC chips, dedicated line-out, and under-$200 price.

Just tested it out in my car. Hot damn, it sounds like my HD800 is in my car! So great...truly a kickass source.

Nice pictures, it looks pretty sweet. Does it load music from both internal memory and sd memory at the same time? i have had other chinese players and they didn't do this.
