SOLD: AT W5000

With great reluctance I am selling my W5000.

I have had 4 W5000s before, and this is the best one that I have kept for a long time. The bass of this headphone is better than a recabled W5000s I have had before - I'm not kidding.

I have the headphone, case and the velvet pouch. There is one nick on the coating of one of the headphones -other than that the headphones are in fine condition.

If you've been a big fan of W5000 but always felt lacked bass, then this is the one you will love.

So, out of curiosity, what makes the bass on this particular one better than the other 3? Is it modded in some way? Or are the W5000's just different from one to the other, luck of the draw? (I've never owned one of these but have considered them...)

The original owner of these who is a friend of mine was very careful with burnin. All of his music are classical music, and that may have had to do something with it - I can never be sure. In any case, the differences were significant and I bought these and let the other 3 go.
