Anyone have problems with Logitech Pure-Fi auto-off?

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 has good overall reviews, but some people have had trouble with the auto-off feature shutting down during quiet passages. The only solution Logitech offers is to turn the volume way up if you're using something with the aux input, which would run the batteries down if you're hooking up an mp3 player or something.

Has anyone had trouble with this, with any of the Pure-Fi products? I'm wondering if this is a common problem, or if it's just a slight problem that bugs a few people. I would be listening to pop music, classical, podcasts, and maybe hook up a portable FM radio occasionally.

I got mine cheap as a refurb and thought that was just a byproduct of it being used. Hmm.

I had one last year and tho i liked the sound and form factor alot..couldnt deal with it always shutting off. did not know that maxing the volumn would solve the prob; ended up tossing the unit

Was the problem only with the aux input, or did it happen with Ipods as well?

With aux only
