I've got 4 sets of vintage AKG K240's in not-properly-working condition. Given the condition of the cables for 2-3 of them, I'd say they might starting working well after a re-cable and some TLC. That's not guaranteed, but I haven't tried it, and it might definitely be worth it. The last one has an earphone hanging off, so that will need re-attachment (technically, probably not that big of an ordeal).
I got them as part of a bigger set of AKG's that were sold by a studio a while ago. Some of the others were working fine, and some had very, very superficial problems... I'm not a big tinkerer, so I can't give you more details about what is wrong with these ones, nor can I guarantee that any of them will be fixed with a simple recable. That said, if you have any specific questions, please let me know.
Asking Price: $SOLDfor all 4 pairs, shipped within the US.
