cool idea

and curious, what was the prize?

Wish I saw this sooner, since I might have been able to win... I regonized at least one right of the bat, and it looks like I could get or two more by zooming in, and even though you wiped your sig I think I might have been able to dig it up on a old post(not sure how these forums work in that regard...) and the rest might have been doable with my hit-and-miss google skillz.

Next time (if there is one), to get more people in on the contest, you could try posting a notice that the contest would be taking place, and starting at a certain time on a certain day... and then, when that day and time came, edit the post to have the picture(s) and begin the contest. I just think that would be cool. Oh, and blur out the model numbers and branding, to make it more of a challenge.

That is interesting that Philips would use a cloth-covered pad on a portable. Not sure if it would hold up durability-wise, but I'm sure they chose it to tune the sound to their preference. And I do agree that Philips makes some pretty good yet affordable phones.

Also, thanks for the link to the review! I'll be heading over there now.

Thanks, that's a good point. This (and the previous one of these I did) was not premeditated, but if I do another one I'll plan ahead. Maybe when my IEM lineup becomes completely refreshed .
