alright... op amps checked.. not the problem.

so i checked a few areas for continuity. checked the input RCA jacks to the input pads on the PCB. that's good. but when i checked for continuity from the input pads on the PCB to the potentiometer, I only have continuity for the right channel, but not the left. and these are the sides that output is coming out on - right side audio only, nothing on the left.. which is strange because if i remember correctly, it was the other way around just a few days back. only had left side output and not right side... and the only change made since then is grounding the wire.

Well, I would not have thought it, but perhaps you should re-flow the solder around all of the pot pins.

yeah that's what i was thinking.... it's not possible for the board to be defective is it? just wondering. defective as in, somehow there is a problem somewhere in the path from the input pads to the pot pads.

Well, thanks for the thanks, but you were the one who did it. You first suspected the pot, then you were the one that thought to check continuity from the input pads to the pot.

Glad to hear that you got it working!
