howto remove volume cap on iphone 3gs/ touch

i know that u can remove the volumecap on ipod touch
is this also possible on the iphone 3gs?
please answer cause this cap is killing me, the sq just sucks right now.
the soundstage is not as wide to my ears as a u.s one
so not only the volume is a factor.

well you could Ctrl+Alt all of your iTunes songs, go to info and steer the volume to 100% instead of 0.

i have tried that, it's still not what im looking for i really need to uncap it,
just don't know how, could it be the same as on the ipod touch?
