It took a Packer to make the Vikings good!

Brad, I'll be sure to check up with you, I'm sure that I'll figure some questions out between now and then. Thanks for the offer!

I really want to be able to play tennis and soccer recreationally (I've played all my years in HS, so I want to keep it up).

Scompton, I hear back about the NROTC scholarship in a couple weeks, so we'll see how that goes. I'm mostly into it because I really want a job after I leave college. I plan on majoring in Aeronautical Engineering, so I figure that I'll be gaining relevant experience in the Navy.

When I turned down the NROTC scholarship, I was around 500th on the AFROTC waiting list, and around 100th when school started. I got the scholarship around 2 weeks in. This was in the 70s though, so it may be different now. The military wasn't very popular back then. Everyone in my high school that went for ROTC or an academy got it.

I had the same thought last night, except it being a step down since my wife's family is from Green Bay.

Actually, you can't even apply for more than one type of scholarship. You are forced to choose before you submit your application. The Marines used to keep calling, but they stopped once I submitted my NROTC app.
