Recabling PX100

My bunny decided the cable looked like a nice treat and chewed it a bit. He only bit one part where the red/copper wires and greenish/yellowish wires are fraying out. So i assume its the cable, as it was working fine before this.

Can anyone help guide me through recabling these? Forgive me, as I have no idea what i'm doing.

How much would it cost to do so? It seems as it would be rather expensive... Is there anyway i can cut the cable and cut the frayed ends and reconnect the cable somehow (omitting the frayed section)?

Can anyone help with this? Can the drivers be separated from the housing without causing death!! Inquiring minds need to know.

If possible reterminate. PX100 are not worth the recabling job.
