Looking to upgrade from ksc75/rx700

So I've been mainly listening to music from my laptop through the jvc rx700s for the past year or so, but I recently got a sansa clip+, and I've been curious about IEMs.

I've just been finding both of my phones sort of muddled sounding, like I have to try to make out the music. I'd like the new set to be an upgrade to both of my phones, and just use them wherever.

My budget is below $150, preferably below $100 unless there's a strong reason to edge past it. They will be used for all kinds of music, classical, rock, pop, whatever my roommate makes me try, etc., as well as movies and gaming.

I've read a ton of reviews here, been lurking a long while, I'm just interested to see if there's any sort of consensus, and try to get some new ideas.

bump? A little more info, looking for a good soundstage, good detail and instrument separation, decent bass, sort of an all-rounder, given my uses above.
Just looking for people to throw ideas at me.
