For Sale (No trades, sorry!) my moddded Bellari VP-129 phono pre-amp. As far as I know, not many other people have done much modding to these, so it should be fun. I've replaced the coupling caps with Solen PPM "Fast Caps" (from France, 630v), snubbed the heater rectifying diodes with .01uF poly/films, and bypassed all electrolytics in the power supply with the same caps. I've also bypassed the output caps with a pair of .1uF 400V Dayton Film/foils. I think the improvements really open up the sound, and make it more lively overall. I lovingly prefer a Sovtek 12AX7-LPS in it, which I would include (well used, but should last a wwwhhiillee). I'd probably also throw in an OS Mullard IEC 12AX7 and a NOS JAN 12AT7.
Let me know if you're interested. In the pictures you'll note that I'm using Nordost Blue Heaven interconnects with it- when the $cable > $preamp it means good things..
