Need some help from the smart guys

Hi, I'm new round these parts. I recently finished my first ever headphone amp, a Bottlehead S.E.X. amp. Unforunately I am forced to sell it for financial reasons and need a way to listen to my cans.

My question is: Can I use my 300b monoblocks to drive my Senn HD600's? I want to build a 'black box' with a headphone jack that will attach to the binding posts on my amps. What needs to be done to get the signal to the correct parameters? The output is about 8watts into an 8ohm speaker and the OPT's have both 4 and 8 ohm taps.

Would this be very complicated? I don't mind if it is, as I enjoy working on projects like this. If this has been discussed before maybe someone can link to the thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I try to help others on their posts, but my knowledge is still pretty limited.

Should be able to pull that off using a 10 watt, 8 ohm L-pad.

Does the Lpad just reduce the voltage? I will give it a try. I wan't sure if there would be a problem with the higher impedance of the headphones.

It will reduce the voltage while presenting the amp with an 8 ohm load which is needed for 300B to be properly loaded.

The problem is that frequency response is going to go nuts as impedance varies with phase. You'd be better off building a CMOY and waiting until you can afford to get your amp out of hock.
