it's 9 degrees farenheit (-13 C) here right now.... this is not helping my smoking habit. it's making me dislike my habit! lol. don't get me wrong, i like cold weather. i actually prefer it to warm weather. this is too cold though. i hate having to put on the necessary layers at these temps to not shiver in <1 minute.

i know there are some of you out there that can boast more extreme temps than this. how cold is it where you are right now?

It's low 40s (F) here in California. Low 40s during the night with rain. I guess that means the surrounding mountains near me will be getting snow just in time for snowboarding season. We don't have record lows here. We're known for the other side of the temperature spectrum.

Ugh... here in Orlando it's 80°F at 9.50PM ~ I wish it were cool, I would trade shivers for sweat any day!

I think on a bad day in the summer, we get up to 120F or higher here. But at least it's mostly dry heat. I can't imagine that with humidity.

Here in southeastern Wisconsin the thermometer is reading 22F, and steadily dropping. It's supposed to be very cold tomorrow, turning all of our slush into ice...

what the heck? i'm in kansas, what's up with wisconsin being warmer than here? lol.

ya, it's supposed to be below zero tomorrow morning.

I don't remember how cold it was last year, but last week was my second time walking around in 26F/-3C (maybe this is with wind chill). I couldn't stand it. Sure the temp's nothing special but it's my second time seeing snow here in Houston .

But as always, the weather in Houston is random. Yesterday was hot and humid, today was windy and cold.
