Moving up from HD215

Sorry for being one of those pain-in-the butt people. But I've been lurking head-fi for a couple of days (for example browsed through 200 pages in "post your portable rig"-thread).

I bought a new ipod nano, gonna buy a D10 or Predator and I was gonna buy K601's along with that. I really liked the K701 and to me I think the K601's would've been just fine. I've come to realize that they're not easy driven though.

Been looking at some ATH's (A/AD700, 900, ESW9, ESW10), Ultrasone's HFI and PRO-group etc.
But I gotta tell you guys I'm at loss here, I don't know what headphones to get anymore.

The rig is gonna be my main music rig - portable and by my computer.
So IEM's is not an option.

Budget is a bit flexible... but somewhere between $200-$350 (€150-€250).

Can you help?

Bump.

Any opinions on the DT770?
Bought a D4 amp, in case that helps since there's an 80 and 250 ohm version.

SR225?

Edit: Hmm... maybe they're not as hifi as I'm looking for...
