And yes, Larry is one of the most thorough and helpful head-fiers
I agree on both points. Larry puts out and tremendous amount of effort and time and my hat is off to him.

The value of the T3 or T3D, to my ear, is that it competes with some of the very best. I also agree with the Assessment of the D4 vs the T3 but for size, the T3 is a great buy.

Thanks guys. I like to help when I can, and I'll try to avoid "too short" answers anyways.

The sound presentation of the T3 far exceeds its price point. It has a very clear and detailed mids and I could not detect any treble shrillness yet it has very good treble extension. The bass is tight and provides plentyof impact.

I also find that its size/weight to be very convenient for an ultra-portable rig. The use of up to 4 gain settings allows users to customize the amp to their needs. Lastly the use of the dual color LED's to denote charging and use are very convenient.

Did I mention its price is ridiculously low!

The T4 is still good for bright phones that could use a darker, warmer or bassier amp, and the Nuforce is good for darker bassier phones or those with recessed mids. But the T3 is a better general purpose amp for any phone, with less concern about whether it will have synergy with this or that headphone/earphone.

Which is more suitable between T3 and T4 for ESW10 for my ultra portable?

T3 or T4

Which would be appropriate for Yuin PK3? I find the PK3's to be quite bright straight out of my Ipod Touch

Thanks in Advance for your thoughts

Yeah I dunno if Nuforce's house sound is bright in general, but the uDAC is definitely brighter than my T3. I did just get it though so I may need to burn it in some.

I actually found that with my Westone 3 and silicone tips that the T3 was brighter and the uDAC was less bright, but with my Westone 2 it switches around and the T3 is not as bright while the uDAC is brighter. Very strange, but that's why synergy is important.

Yeah those were just my very initial impressions with my PFEs w/silicone tips. Gonna let it burn in a bit. I'll do some more a/bing after I use it some more.

The uDAC has wonderful transparency though, this much is clear already

edit: After some more listening, the bass and overall sound has filled out very nicely on the uDAC.
