What is going on at Audeze LCD-2 phones?

Doe anyone have enough close contact with this firm to know when these phones will be available for retail sale?

last i heard was late dec, but that doesn't seem likely. i also emailed alex about a month ago and never heard back, so who knows . . .

spoke to the chaps earlier this week.. They are waiting on a particular part to come in and they figure its going to be in 10-14 days by the time they start shipping

best way to do it..they are working off of a contat list i guess from those who have emailed them and/or met them at RMAF and at the new york meet.

Me too. I was at RMAF and wrote Alex a long time ago. Nothing since. They were really nice sounding for non-ES phones.

same. contacted about a month ago. no reply.

i just take that to mean that the headphones aren't ready yet - maybe still a good while from production. when they are ready and orders are being taken, i'm sure word will spread.

im looking forward to getting my pair!
i spent a good deal of time with these on my rwa isabellina hpa at last fall ny meet and these phones are very fine indeed.

Note to Audeze if you are following this- responding to emails puts the buyer at ease. I, like several posted here, sent an email inquiring about status, pricing, pictures, anything and never got a response.

Any update? Sachu said it will be released at January, but it seems that it will delay again.

I see some impression says that LCD-2 has an laidback sound, does it mean the mids is recessed, is it as laidback as GS1000 or to the extend of D7000?
