I am selling my stock Eastern Electric Minimax HDCD CD player which I purchased in 2005. It is in excellent condition with the only cosmetic blemish being a black scuff which came from the rubber feet of an amp that sat on top of it (see picture).
The Minimax is known for having a pretty decent built-in headphone amp with a dedicated circuit fed from the tube output stage, so you can easily use it as a simple bedside rig.
The unit will ship with the stock Electro Harmonix 6922s and a pair of what I believe to be Amperex Orange Label 6DJ8s which I paid $70ish for on eBay. The labels are mostly worn off, though they are clearly orange. I won't be held accountable for their authenticity, however, since I don't know enough about tubes. They work, were sold by a reputable tube seller, and were sold as Amperex.
I paid $900 for the player originally and as I mentioned before, about $70 for the tubes. I am looking for $450 shipped to the CONUS. I will ship internationally as long as you cover the difference between the international and domestic rates. PayPal only, please.
