Looking for a nice DAP

I'm looking for a nice DAP to use with a Triple.fi, sometimes with my HeadRoom Micro Amp and perhaps Pico Slim and custom IEMs in the future. I own iPhone 3GS, which sounds pretty good, but actually, having a DAP and phone in one device eats too much battery. I've been recently thinking about Sony X or iPod Touch. As I own an iPhone I don't really need a wi-fi, games, or so, but I heard that these two sound pretty good. What do you think? Oh, and capacity matters too, 32GB is a minimum, the more, the better.

X-series. You don't need two portable Apple products.

A sony X walkman or a cowon s9 would be my recommendation. If you're using triple fi 10, I'd go with the X.

I agree with ^. Triplefi is known to be a bright sounding iem. The sony X would balance that out better than the cowon s9. But cowon has more format support for audio and video (video on the cowon looks awesome).
