So contributing members don't have any sidebar, I forgot!

Didn't it used to be on the right a little while back and then it switched to the left and everyone freaked out about it?

Yeah that's what I thought. When I loaded the forum today, it was sort of like deja vu ...

Okay so I can't change it back in the options menu, although I could yesterday, and this is an issue for me.

That looks interesting but I'm using Chrome now. Don't want to switch back to FF just for reading HF.

It'd be fine with me if it was the same size as it used to be but now the ads are so wide.

Exactly. In the old on-the-right format, I could read things easily, it was unobtrusive, and I didn't mind leaving ads on. The new one is WAY too wide. Even at 1600x1200 it takes up a sizable chunk of my screen, which I find completely unacceptable.

I didn't even notice it, I never even see the ads actually. Funny how you ignore irritating stuff
I really just hope they keep the thread part clean of ads. Nothing worse on a forum than ads between the posts. Everything else is fine with me, but it would be cool if they sat around for a day and actually think where they want to go: get a proper front-page with identity, user-info on the side, fix navigation things, remove stickies etc.
