It's more a result of accidentally yanking on a usb cord. It's only happened twice so far, but at $100+ a pop that starts to get unpleasant. I've gotten into the habit of just stashing the hard drives away when not in use.

Yes, I'm quite stoked with my backup HD collection. I finally settled on that elusive trinity that synergizes well with my needs and setup. A main external (USB and eSATA) for my music and media along with two external USB backup drives.

Now if I could only settle on the elusive trinity for my full size headphone collection. It's there somewhere. I just haven't found it yet.

I grabbed it from an image on the web site for the Pink Floyd tribute band Wish You Were Here. I was looking for a Pink Floyd inflatable pig image to go along with my ham flavored user name. The user name and avatar idea came about because I was listening to Animals and eating a ham sandwich when I finally decided to sign up here at Head-Fi.

Heck, maybe I'll skip my next audio upgrade and just set up a RAID server for all my music...
