WA3 Transformer Hum

Thread Starter
I've got a Woo Audio WA3-based custom made preamp, and the other day I noticed that there was a bit of a transformer hum coming from the unit. I discovered the hum by accident... I bent down to pick something up by my equipment rack, and my while I was bent over my head was really close to the preamp and that's when I heard the hum.
So I don't know if the hum has always been there and I didn't notice it, or if it's a new thing. Do any other WA3 owners notice a transformer hum coming from their units?

I own a WA3+ and this one has no transformer hum at all.

Remedies for transformer hum might include:
1. Tightening or loosening of the screws that hold together the iron sheets of the transformer (if existent - did not open up my WA3+ transformer yet ) - but works well with other transformers, too - I have sucessfully tried this.
2. Elimination of "dirty" power
3. An indirect remedy but it may help: Placing the humming unit in the optimum distance from the listening position in which the acoustic wave from the hum might be cancelled (you would not believe how effective this is - I do this with my old PS Audio power plant - works perfectly)
