I moved into stax recently. I will order a stax 404le soon but hten I have the problem what in production amp to use for it. The stax amps dont seem to be that good.
I was all set to wait for the exstata and to ask someone to build it for me once it came out of beta but yesterday I heard from another european head-fier that there is someone in Germany who builds stat amps.
He however does not build his own designs but the designs of someone else. The designs are publically available on Index
Being the non-technical person that I am I would like your opinions about these designs, how do you think they compare to the other stat amps out there? I imagine that there are few people who have actually heard these amps but if you have heard them please chime in with actually impressions.
