Really folks, this is a great, bang for the buck dac. I know everyone here hates Stan for the crap he pulled, but don't let that bias you against this sweet little unit. I've owned mine since forever and just love it.... So much so that I'm going to keep it and buy the TC-7520.
I am NOT Stan....really.

New guy here. Wondering if this will play speakers as well? If so, it looks like they would need to be powered speakers, correct?

Also, how's the headphone output on this one? If you recommend getting a headphone amp, which one would you recommend for $100 to $150? Thanks.

Would you send it to UK?

Headphone output is OK; I couldn't tell you honestly because I used them with my HD555 which are average phones to begin with, and with K701s which NEED an amp to sound good. RCA out is great, I wasn't picking up any of the hiss with my DV 336se or my Canamp that the headphone out did.

As far as the amp recommendation, I really can't provide an answer. I haven't really heard any amps in that price range, once again the only amps I've heard with this DAC are 336Se and Canamp. I'm sure the forums can help.

Sure, via Fedex. I've had a couple earlier inquiries PMed though, I'll see if they are still interested.

Pictures in the next hour, I need to grab some food and dig up my camera.

Stan's been banned from a couple of sites for rank sock puppetry.
See here for instance: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f7/ber...-again-399977/
But really, the dacs are sweet and well reviewed.

PM me guys! I'm not looking to make every last penny, it's been collecting dust for a while and $75 is what I think it's worth.
