I have too many DACses. Accordingly, I am selling my Esoteric D-70.
As you can see from the link, the feature list is rather extensive, and it uses 4 x PCM1704. It also has a volume control, so it could be used as a pre. The DAC itself is built like a tank. It weighs 55(!) pounds.
The condition of the DAC is good, but it shows signs of use. I am the third owner. The top rear corners of the DAC have a few scratches, but it is otherwise cosmetically solid. I include a couple of pictures below (without top, which has been reinstalled of course), and can provide more detailed pics on request. The DAC will also come with the User Manual and Service Manual--both of which I purchased directly from TEAC/Esoteric and are not necessarily easy to come by. The remote is included. It is missing a small screw in the upper left corner, which should be an easy fix.
Price: $1500. I will pick up the paypal fees, but shipping will be at buyer's expense due to the weight. Figure at least $75.00 for shipping/insurance (could be more or less). Accordingly, local pickup is encouraged and I will make a price concession for the convenience. EDIT: $1350 for local pickup.
I will not consider shipping outside of CONUS at this time.
