Fuze Playlists

Thread Starter
Just bought a 4GB Fuze yesterday, and managed to get a couple of playlists set up. But what I'm wondering is how do I add songs to an already existing playlist? I've been trying to figure this out for about an hour, and am starting to get a little frustrated. I used WMP to sync, but I don't know how to edit playlists..made even more difficult by the fact that the playlists don't even show up in the left pane.

I have a Fuze, but never used playlists...

However I am sure you can use playlists with rockbox. You can check, if you have Fuze v1. Then you,if you want rockbox it.

It is much better than the normal firmware.

You need to edit the playlist in WMP and then synchronize (or re-sychronize) it with Fuze. It will should delete the songs on the current playlist and replace them with your new playlist. At least that is how I believe WMP works, although it has been awhile. This is the way it works (and works well) with MediaMonkey.

I know of no way to edit playlists on Fuze if they were created on the computer.

You can create playlists by dragging songs, or entire folders of songs, into your Fuze's "Music" folder (in MTP mode). In your Fuze's "Music" folder, right click on the copied folder or any number of songs selected together, and select "Create Playlist." This creates a .PLA playlist which you can then double-click and add more tracks, delete tracks, and re-arrange them in whatever order you wish. Hope that helps and good luck!
