I'm thinking about rationalizing my collection of headphones a little bit and selling off my Sony MDR-CD3000. This is a very special pair of headphones to me because it's the first pair of 'phones that I truly fell in love with, and it has been recabled with one-of-a-kind Rethm loudspeaker cabling, which has made it one of the most detailed and revealing pairs of 'phones I have ever heard, and the best pair of closed headphones I've heard aside from the R10. It's an incredibly musical pair of headphones that I would be sad to part with if I decided to sell (which I haven't yet!). Pictures can be found in my sig.
Would love to see how much interest there would be for these at $625 including shipping (was going to make it $650, but don't have the original box). They're in perfect functional and cosmetic condition, and will make an enchanting companion for someone who tends to like a slightly brighter presentation in their headphones (even though these have a very nicely balanced bass presentation and beautiful midrange).
Let me know, and these might come available in the next week or two.
